Much frustration, feeling as though everyone wanted more from me than I could possibly give, everyone grabbing little pieces of me and me running is conveyed in this figurative abstract. Dimensional paint was knifed on the canvas creating unintentional patterns. While the texture paint was still wet, I used a piece of old blanket and pressed it into various areas to give more texture to the texture. I then took the paint and started dabbing it onto the shapes and before I knew it, I saw these shapes appearing and then I saw my own face with my ponytail flowing behind me as if I was running away. I was amazed at how my emotions had worked these shapes into something with meaning. Total time to complete was 1 hour.

The colors are fine quality archival Golden acrylics and it has been sealed for protection so it will last for years to come.
