This painting was inspired by a photo of the old grist mill in VA. The colors are bold and vivid as the feel of autumn is in the air. It has been in the hands of my son for a few years and recently I got it back because I was never really happy with the end result, so I changed some things around on it and am now pleased with the finished product.
