Inspired by a hike taken in the area where I live in the Ozarks in SW Missouri, I had to come home to paint this beautiful scene where the clouds seperated allowing light to play on the wet ground after a shower. The air smelled fresh and clean and the feeling was on of new beginnings. My mother-in-law loved it so much it was given to her as a gift.
