I always enjoy creating artworks with an idea in mind, an idea that comes from a customer, sometimes it's something that I would not have even contemplated at all...which makes it even more amazing and fun to do.
My favorite Commission to date would be a posable Faerie sculpt I created for Australian writer; Sally Odgers, she wanted a faerie based on a character in an upcoming book she had written.
It worked out well and she was pleased.
When I start a commission I like to first get some basic ideas as to what my customer wants...perhaps even ask things that may not have been thought of or considered.
Once the basic idea has been conceived I will go away and come up with some more ideas and possible things that will be included, such as actuals materials that might be used to achieve a certain goal.
customers do also have the option of being emailed works in Progress images and also with the entire process on disk from start to finish of each sculpt.
