This painting is of an area right off of my drive way. I have two beautiful crepe myrtles that are in full bloom. I painted one of them for this painting. My next painting will be of them both. There are also cypress trees that line both sides of my yard. Part of one is showing in this painting. I love how the light hits everything. In this painting I tried to capture the light and colors that come about as the sun starts its decent from the sky.
