"She lets her imagination run away with her." I remember those words being said about me as a child. For years I worked to get control of my imagination, which sometimes seems to be more active now than it was when I was a child. I have dedicated many hours to the study of perspective, color and design. Not that I regret it. Not at all. But sometimes its more fun to break the rules when you know what they are!
About three years ago I was diagnosed with an inner ear disorder that left me nearly deaf and with very poor balance. So... I had to leave my 9-5 job. But as with most rain clouds, this life change left behind a rainbow. I now have more time to dedicate to my art and recently my style has undergone some big changes. I have discovered that a more expressionistic style suits me and my "imagination". I am really enjoying these changes and I hope you enjoy my paintings.
I think perhaps I will let my imagination run... as far as it wants to.
