I grew up around art in the great city of Houston. Thanks to my beautiful parents who exposed us continuously to the arts throughout our childhood and young adolescence. Art has been a huge part of my entire life so naturally, I chose to become an artist and pursue this passion for the rest of my life.

I graduated from the University of Texas / Pan American with a BFA in Advertising Design & Marketing. After doing that for nine years, I later pursued a degree in secondary art education. I did this so that I could take summers off and still get paid. Well that didn't work out very well for this work-a-holic girl. For three years, I always found summer jobs to make up for the no-job during the summer syndrome due to my teaching career. My life then did a 180 and I ended back up in the business world of marketing. I have truly been blessed with job opportunities that most people dream of and have devoured my job experiences to further my art career to its fullest. Since then, I have taught art, exhibited in galleries, do traveling art shows, have been commissioned to do major art pieces, sell online on ebay and simply enjoy creating original art that reflect my clients' ideas as well as my very own.

My work has been described as fresh, whimsical, and modern contemporary. I usually get my ideas from my everyday life and at the spur of the moment. My inspirations come from my surroundings and every now and then from my thoughts. My painting style and color scheme develop depending on my mood at the time I am painting. You can tell my different moods when viewing the difference in my styles.
