~I am a self taught, self representing artist residing in Wisconsin. My passion for art started when I was a young child and my love for it only grew as I got older. I had always done it “here and there” for a hobby while maintaining my job in the “corporate world”. When I decided that I needed to make a change to something that I really wanted to do, and not just what I thought I was supposed to do. I realized quickly that the answer was right in front of me. If you have the opportunity to do what you love, why not? What I love about art is the absolute freedom I have to create what I want and feel. There is no right or wrong answer. It’s me being me.
I paint what I feel so my style may change depending on my mood or what is happening around me. Generally, I start with a color scheme and that does it. I just let the painting develop as I go. Painting to me is a release, and is based off of true emotions and how you interpret those through your paint brush and on to your canvas.
I take great pride in my work and feel extremely lucky to be able to create the art that I do. I believe in creating beautiful original art that can still be affordable. I want to be able to share my work and for everyone to be able to have the chance to see what a truly beautiful piece of art can do for your soul. It can really elicit emotions and brighten your day.
