Art is a communication between the artist and the observer. No two people create or interpret an artistic work the same. We add input to the artwork from the emotions it evokes which allows each viewer a unique internal encounter with the artist. A work of art is unfinished until it is viewed by other individuals or an audience.

I allow the artwork to dictate the materials I will use. Whether it is acrylics, watercolors, clay, digital photography, video works or ????? I must obey!

When working in acrylics I prefer using pallet knives of various kinds adding texture mediums, metallic paints, collage affects and just about anything I feel is desirable for that piece. I prefer the emotional involvement and creative freedom to guide my work. Sometimes color, sometimes the texture, objects, and other times the image, and even photography is the direction I choose. I don't restrick myself to a specific media, medium or style.

I consider myself a bohemian at heart and eclectic person in every area of my life. My art, my photography (shown here) , my home decor, my animals, my friends, my past, present and definitely my future .......................
