when i started working on this - i didn't intend for it to be so dark! i started dark but i wanted that to be a base. as i kept working i really liked what was happening and how the texture was adding to the complexity of a beautiful and simply "lined" flower. this is painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. thank you for looking
