We have a little holly bush (this one doesn't produce berries) and I particularly liked this leaf and the composition because of the blemishes and the way the light hit it. The leaves are incredibly sharp - I've been stabbed numerous times but it's the same with roses - and this holly bush is almost as beautiful :) Soft pastels on 18x24 Strathmore paper
