Poppies Chunky Block Painting

5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Acrylic on 3/4" wood

The sides were carved out to add to the texture and look. The flowers and seeds were woodburned in and then painted, to give a textured feel. A slot is carved in the back for easy hanging.

Both front and back have been sealed with a glossy varnish for protection.

The painting can also stand on it's own on a table for display.

This is an actual painting, not a laminated print.
