This first in the series of FAERIE MAIDENS painted with acrylic on rustic old tin roofing shingles. This springtime spirit can be seen wading in the lake shallows, wrapped only in early morning mist as she gathers her branches of pussy willow. Painted on old architectural tin roofing shingle. The embossed Gothic arch shape lends an icon quality to this fantasy portrait. The natural rustic imperfections and patina enhance the design and beauty of the piece. Signed "A Lovett 2004" along lower left edge.
