I'm a Cuban-American painter living in South Florida. I find inspiration in the memories of the beautiful landscapes found in my native country as well as the lush tropical scenery found in South Florida.
Painting for me is capturing a moment in time that might otherwise pass by unnoticed and unappreciated. The desire and my limited ability to do this is definitely a gift from above. I'm mostly a self-taught artist and making my subjects recognizable and appreciated by others is truly rewarding.
I love the impressionistic style with bright colors and thick luscious oil paints. They seem to convey more movement and depth and have a life of their own.
My art work can be found all over the world in "Die Galerie" in Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, and throughout the U.S.
All of my art work is dedicated to my mother, Carmen. She was the artist that has influenced me the most!
