This peice started with the decorative blue bottle that I had already used in another painting. I want to do a whole series featuring this bottle. I just love the way it looks when it is well lit. I tried several arangements, inluding florals, but decided to go with the multi-colored grapes.

I took about ten digital photos from all angles and distances using the best one as the main template for the piece. I used the other photos to help with the overall mood and colors.

The paintng is on 300 lb. Arches watercolor paper.
