When Pegasus flew over Dallas, he spotted out. Since it's mythology, if a horse can fly, surely he can change to spots . . .

This oil on Crescent board painting is after Fredrick Lord Leighton, a pre-Raphaelite and one of my favorite artists, from a detail of his painting, "Perseus and Andromeda".

I chose this subject because Dallas is my hometown and the Mobile Oil Pegasus is its symbol. I spotted him out because I primarily paint appaloosas.
