My name is Melissa Marie Johnson. I am a self taught, self representing artist. I am currently living in the beautiful surroundings of the White Mountains of Northern Arizona. I spent my childhood finding ways to be creative with my time with drawing, decorating and making ordinary items something different then that of their original state.

As I grew older painting pieces for my friends and family became a daily hobby. I started painting murals and home interiors for myself and others, giving my original paintings as gifts.

I recently decided to sell my original art online and have been given the opportunity to make my life long dream come true. My canvas is my personal journal allowing me limitless use of media and tools to create an entry. I love the richness of acrylics but don't limit myself to them. I will use any painting utensils along with other objects available to me creating the shapes or textures I want. I find that painting my thoughts, memories, emotions, pain and happiness is easier than words can convey. I express my life through my art with great hope that as I heal and grow, I can bring the beauty of my visual entries to you.
