This painting developed in light of the teenage issues Society is currently experiencing. Camarilla (clique) is an ongoing problem teenagers are facing in everyday life. The painting depicts the small outside group set aside from the larger group. But when examining the painting, you will notice subtle hints, that in fact, we are all one and joined together through being simply human and the need to be loved. I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I do. Possibly my experiences working in the Child welfare system inspired this one!!
THis painting was created using acrylics, oil pastels and tissue paper, which adds a subtle texture. Sealed with a matte varnish.
