This is a watercolor, pen and ink work, created for Illustration Friday a weekly illustration challenge. This character study was pulled from the sketchbook I carry with me everywhere. I was sitting in the waiting room at the hospital while my husband was having his kidney stones removed when this was rendered. His patootie was the inspiration for this piece. I uploaded it to the Illustration Friday website where a topic is posted every Friday and then participants have all week to come up with their own interpretation.
