There is no medium that isn't beautiful.
Like most children, I got an early start at creativity...
I remember some of my first artistic experiences:
Sunday school in Eugene, Oregon...making tie dye t-shirts! Putting masking tape on a vase and wiping on shoe polish! My brother and I went to the local stream which was a natural clay bed and full of mint, too!! We would dig out clay to bring home, then spend the whole afternoon sculpting in the driveway, and letting our artwork dry in the sun before gifting it to my lucky and grateful mother!
I still play, every day. It's like Kindergarten in our home, and we haven't had any kids yet! So, we still get to behave like them!
