Christ was nailed to a cross and left to die. When I think of what the cross might have looked like, I think it might be made from a wood with many knot holes and then stained with the blood after his death. This glass is a gorgeous tan color with wine and burgundy streaks running in to one another. I've created this one-of-a-kind stained glass cross, very unique in design. Swirls of copper inlay have been placed within the cross representative of knotted wood. The seam running down the top might be where the wood has aged and separated and now a vine traces its way through the center. It's been given a copper finish, and decorative soldering has been added throughout to make this a very original design. It has been sealed for long life and protection. It is 10.5 inches tall and 8 inches wide. A copper link chain has been added (not included in the dimension) so you can hang it in the window or on the wall. It comes artist signed and dated making this truly a collectors item. If you are a collector of fine art crosses or crucifixes, you will want to consider this for your collection.
