I have no idea where the idea came from to start painting these little creatures, but here they are. Each one is a one-of-a-kind original having its own personality. From a distance they look sweet enough, but upon taking a closer look, their true personalities become revealed. They look hauntingly familiar don’t they? Each one is painted on a ¾ inch thickness of wood. (Pine I think) Painted using various mixed-media including acrylics, india ink and cloth. It comes unframed but the sides have been painted either black or a matching color to the front. Perfect for a bookshelf or a small nook. Each has been sealed with a matte finish to preserve the work.
