I love the bright red color of this dahlia in contrast to the yellow center. I've been watching this plant in my garden throughout the summer and have been waiting for a perfect flower, which has been hard since the japanese beetles were hard on it. I used my Sony F828 to take the photo this afternoon (10/15/06). Except for cropping, no editing was done to this photo.
