Bright red tulips appear against a the silver light of a morning sky. The shadows among the ground and leaves are an eggplant purple and the leaves tend toward a jalepeno pepper green. The color inspiration come from the pottery barn fall colors collection which feature "wenge, "feather gray", "million dollar red" and "jalepeno pepper" Paint colors are available from Benjamin Moore. This painting uses acrylic paint and metallic silver has been layered over the purple and gray in the background. Cobalt blue has also been used on the stems and leaves. The sides are painted black so no frame is required on this piece. The pieces will be given a protective varnish before shipment. There are four paintings in this series. One has been sold. Please email if you are interested in more than one!
