This entire collection of Zen inspired paintings flowed from me smoother than any one painting I have ever produced. Images and strokes, compositions and decisions were made one after the other with such a steadily paced rythm and stillness. My focus and joy both were abundant.

That is not to say they were easy, because they did require great energy and thought. The two just seemed easy to find.

I imagine this kind of experience over the duration of creating a particular collection of works will only happen once.
