I'm a Canadian artist currently residing in Ontario. I come from a family full of artistic talent. Needle felting is something I learned only a year ago, but wool has quickly become my favourite medium to work with! I have also been sculpting in polymer clay for years. I've always had a strong passion for animals, especially dogs, and could never live without them in my life. I truly enjoy combining my love of animals with my love of art! I hope my work is able to bring a smile to your face!

All of my dogs are sculpted through a process called Needle Felting. Needle felting is the process of taking raw wool roving and using a special barbed needle to sculpt it into shape. The sculpting is done by poking the wool fibers thousands of times until they interlock and felt together. This process is extremely time-consuming, and each dog takes many hours, and often many days, to complete. Each sculpture is created over a wire armature. This provides support and makes each creation slightly posable. I hand sculpt the eyes and noses out of polymer clay.

I strive to make each miniature as realistic and detailed as possible. Each sculpture is an original One of a Kind (OOAK) work of art, created by artist K. Stahler. Each creation is firmly felted and quite solid. I am confident you will be very pleased with your purchases, as I would never sell something that was not up to the standard of quality I strive to maintain. Every order will be carefully packaged to ensure a safe arrival, and comes from a smoke free home. Please remember that each sculpture is a delicate work of art and not intended to be a toy for young children. Each order will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, which will include a photograph of the sculpture.

I love to do commissions! When purchasing a custom order, I will be working directly off of photographs that you supply. This means you will be able to customize certain features of your miniature pet, such as breed, pose, markings, colours, and more.
