This un-retouched photograph (other than a little brightness and contrast), of a wooden press, taxes the brains reasoning power. The different shades and their corresponding perception of distance causes our eyes to see a background other than a single flat wall with a shuttered window. Adding to the mixture is the way the light hits the bottom part of the screw but not the top, and the curve of the brace. Or, maybe it is just me and I have finally gone over the deep end...I think I hear the men in white suits coming up the stairs now...lol. More Info...
