This piece is in a series of faces/masks. It was inspired by the fires in Southern California. The green represents the grass, the orange brown represents the charred and burning ground, the yellow and orange and crimson represent the fire - and the dripping thick paint represents water, sweat and pain. The gold mica flace represent the lives lost and the glow in the dark areas in the eye represents that the Fire God never sleeps - The gods eyes are solumn because there is nothing he can do - he just watches as the fire, which he is so proud of, is destroying lives. This piece has super thick application in parts, with iridecsent blue, orange and gold in the face - ther is also gold mica chip flakes in this piece as well. There are touches of Phosphorescent color in the eyes - therefore parts will glow in the dark.
