My jewelry is Bent, Warped & Twisted and so am I. I've had a really interesting life so far, my work tells snippets of my life story and I use precious metal wire in my work. I'm crazy in a fun and eclectic sort of way and I'm not afraid to express it, even though sometimes it does raise eyebrows - life's too short to be boring!

The lampwork glass I've chosen for my wearable art jewelry is made by some of the top torchers out there, primarily Alexandra Spinglaschell, Aimee Milan, Lydia Muell and Rebecca McGlynn. I use the finest quality .999 fine Thai Karen Hill Tribe silver beads, bead links, 14K, 18K and 24K gold beads, bead caps and spacers, 20K Afghani resin-core beads and the best natural gemstone beads from an outstanding lady called Catherine Freeman. I fully believe in giving credit where it is due because without these people I would not be able to do what I do, and they have made it possible for me to express myself in ways that I never have before. Since I can't lampwork myself due to some pesky medical conditions and the meds I have to take for them it's been amazing to hook up with torchers who seem to be able to read my mind!

Each piece of my jewelry tells a small snippet of my life story, and some pieces have very specific meanings for me. My Pink Ribbon series is in honor of my cousin Tonia, our paternal grandmother, my maternal grandmother and every other woman who has ever literally gone through the fight of her life with breast cancer. It's also for the family members of the women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. A portion of the sale price of all my ribbon theme items goes directly to that charity and I make an effort to use fair trade items whenever I possibly can.
