| I love making art and I always have. After a l-o-n-g absence from art I am thrilled to be creating again!
When I paint, I am painting an emotion -especially when I am painting figures. I strive to do this not only with a figure's pose but with the colors and brushstrokes that I use. I like to paint quickly and expressively so as to give the impression of a captured moment. My favorite mediums are Acrylic Paints and Pastels because they lend themselves well to continuous painting with no need for breaks. Acrylics allow me to keep my strokes energetic and colors vibrant. I like to use pastels when I am working for a softer effect. With either medium, I love to use vibrant colors and strong contrasts. I also love to work in black and white using either acrylic paint, ink, pencil or charcoal. I find my inspiration from people, emotions, color, and nature.
