Incredible as it may seem, it wasn’t until after I was 40 years young that I had the opportunity to vacation at the beach. Oh, I had seen the ocean, but I never actually spent any time just walking along the shore, watching the sea gulls or just people watching. But most of all, I was just totally overwhelmed by the ocean itself.

Sea Grass depicts the profusion of weeds growing near the shore which seems to be as ageless as the wind that blows constantly through them. Although you can’t paint the glorious sounds of the beach, your memories will bring back the ocean’s timeless sound as the earth breaths in and out, and listen for the rustle of the sea weed as the wind blows inward from the Gulf of Mexico.
