I was born in Virginia, raised primarily in southeastern Pennsylvania horse country. But I have travelled and lived from El Paso, TX to Kaiserslautern, Germany and a bunch of places in between. I have seen a lot of things good and bad, beautiful and ugly, most of which influences my art. I love all forms of art and most mediums.

My grandfather is to blame for my ability for art. He placed the seed on my all summer trips to their home in Virginia and then Alabama. He was a watercolor artist. Not a professional just an enthusiast, but a very good enthusiast. He put the pallet and the watercolor paper pad in front of me. We painted gods and figures of Norse mythology, landscapes and everything that could be imagined in my mind. He took me to museums and various places of interest on my summer trips to my grandparents.

My high school art teacher was the man I actually give credit for the passion I have for art. He would put anything good I did in the glass case in front of the art room. It didn't matter how macabre or how peaceful, how controversial or mainstream. His passion was the art not necessarily what the piece meant to the artist. He viewed art as an escape for some and a release for others and no one views it quite the same. He had me hooked from day one.

I generally work with acrylics and archival ink but will bring other mediums into my art world. I like doing fantasy/scifi influenced art but also work landscapes and seascapes into my little world as well.
