Yvonne Ayoub is classically trained in the all the visual, performing and creative arts. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, of Austrian and English descent, she lived and worked all over the world, before finally settling in the UK with her Lebanese husband and raising their two children.
Although trained primarily as a classical ballet dancer, she has pursued her passion for painting and drawing all her life.
Constantly seeking artistic inspiration, she now divides her time between her home in Central London and on the beautiful island of Skiathos, Greece, where she is is the process of setting up a new ART CENTRE, PAINTING HOLIDAY VENUE & ARTIST'S RETREAT . for more info check out: PAINTINGSKIATHOS
Yvonne is a highly creative visual artist, with a passion for Life and an on-going fascination with how Art, in all its forms (visual- fine art, photography etc - music, theatre, literature, et al) and in all cultures, finds expression, throughout the wider global community. She firmly believes Art is the true 'food for the soul' and that it should be easily accessible, widely celebrated and freely enjoyed, by all. It is a common language we all can share, regardless of any geographical, political, economical, cultural, racial or religious differences.
Today, as an established artist, illustrator and muralist, Yvonne works mostly to commission, in a wide variety of media. With her imaginative use colour, keen observation skills and disciplined artistry, Yvonne seeks, in her work, to reflect and promote the rich diversity of our many fascinating cultures. She continually endeavours to find a way to successfully capture, express and raise awareness, of the wonders of the natural world and to remember, with humility, man's place in it.
