I have been painting since 2002. I started drawing and experimenting with art when I was in my twenties. I took a drawing class at a craft store, and was hooked. I love to paint, and create. I love to try and capture movement and "moments" in time. I find inspiration in my children, in nature, and the emotions of life.

I have sold most of my art work locally, and decided to try to expand to the internet. I have had good sucess so far. I have taken a few art classes at our local university, but am mostly self taught.

I paint when ever I have a free moment, or when my kids let me. I am not a perfectionist at anything, yet when it comes to my art I can't let a piece go until I am thouroughly satisfied. I do become attached to my pieces, some more than others. They all mean something to me, a memory, a friend, a child, or just something that is important to me. I hope that you will find something moving in them yourself.
