Susan Crocker's curiosity about God's natural and spiritual world is obvious in her paintings. Susan is inspired by the process of experimentation and creation and from that point, seeks to bring movement, thought and form in a way that is beautiful and uplifting. To do this Susan imagines herself to be in a spiritual realm of serene flowing forms of exceptional color, and from this point the process of creation is born.

"My paintings are my attempt to communicate natures beauty in our world. Paintings are the opportunity to glimpse a moment in time, and to appreciate our entire world. You can view what's on the surface of the painting or you can look deeper into space to view other worlds. My goal is to communicate the beauty that exists in our universe underneath the appearance of unforeseeable events."

Susan's images are triggered by nature, music, dreams, and glimpses of color and form that lie just beneath her conscious awareness. She uses fascination splashes of color and light in dramatic settings to take the viewer into a new world.
