I chose to work with this picture because there is a cute little garlic clove at the center of this flower. It looks like the tiny flowers are actually coming out of it. I am not a botanist, so I don't understand how that works, but I just think it's neat, how something that smells so much like pizza can look so delicately elegant. I picked watercolor for this particular rendition, because it made the whole thing come alive better than anything else.
