I am a self taught, full time, artist, sculptor and inventor. My art is often experimental, abstract, incidental and naïve but is almost always derived from the same underlying theme; liquidity, fluidity and water the matrix that connects all life. Through multiple genera's I am constantly trying to define, and sometimes redefine, the fiber that connects all life together. My art is my interpretation of our existence as a whole and not of its individual parts.

Art, for me, isn't just about venting an overabundance of creativity; it is also about understanding the complexities of the world I live in and interpreting it into a language I am comfortable with. Some of my pieces are observations, some are pure emotion and others are philosophically derived but all of them are a visual journal, so to speak, of my progression through and understanding of the world we live in.

While I sculpt and cast in bronze, glass, aluminum and earthenware my primary art form is abstract paintings. Abstract painting allows me to think very rapidly and to get ideas out while they are fresh. The nature of abstracts also lets me combine many incidental ideas into a piece along the way. I use mostly acrylics and watercolors due to their fluid nature and almost always use some type of texturing medium. I think texture is one of the single most important elements in my art. It often connects ideas within the piece, together, and enhances the color, depth and overall feeling. I also experiment with found objects, metals, stone and almost anything else that will stick to a canvas.
