This piece was made for a charity auction benefitting Wildlife Direct's Gorilla Project. One gorilla. One life. One gentle spirit in need of our help. The title of this piece reflects many aspects of what this project has meant to me. If through our group's efforts we can help to protect these gentle and magnificent animals, then we will have made a step toward the recognition that all life on this planet is interconnected - is truly one. It is my hope that my painting will help contribute to this noble cause.
