Mariachi Estrella de Topeka. An all female mariachi group. Four of it's seven members died in the collapse of a hotel walkway in 1981. This statue of the performer saying her final goodbyes to her audience was unveiled in 2001 in front of the Topeka Performing Arts Theater. Photo taken with a Sony A-200 DSLR.
