Dia de los Muertos is a holiday which celebrates those who have passed on. To me, it brings death out of the darkness and into the light and shows that it is not to be feared, as we all share it's inevitable grasp. "In Memoriam" was created in honor of The Day of the Dead using mostly charcoal with a hint of acrylic paint. It was originally intended to be in October's Day of the Dead Show.
