If you're wondering why my pictures of "fake" children (see "Hitchhiker") seem lonesome and really mad, like they're going to jump out a scratch your eyes out...

Or if you are wondering about my fasination with Flannery O'Connor....

It is a subconsicious self portrait of myself as a child.

Maybe Flannery O'Connor worked out her kids characters that way too...coming from a family of strict Catholic background. It is a fantastic way to get back at one's parents ... Stuff you wished you could tell to their faces...

This is my "late addition" to Flannery O'Connor piece.

It's atmosphere inspired by the story "The Lame Shall Enter First". The Child in that story was a boy, who lost his mother. He was duped into thinking that his mother now lived on the moon, and he should go to her.

The kid later jumped out the attic window trying to fly to the moon.

this story is so poignant, that I actually have another version in the making. ..
