Beauty in aggression.
This image is based on a photo of a flock of seabirds which we were feeding by throwing pieces of bread. This is a practice which is now banned in many of our seaside towns as the birds have become so aggressive, snatching food from the hands of holidaymakers and causing injury in many cases.
I wanted to show you the original photo but can't find it - (tomorrow I'll get organised!)
This artwork is done in pastels on paper and was intended as a study for a painting in oils which I still haven't got round to. One of these days.....!!
