This little kitty called Squeaker has been getting used to her new home since she was rescued at the pound. Very young and afraid she quickly became accustomed to her new family and bounced around getting into everything. Squeaker loves toys particularly when her humans play with her then cuddle after. Right now in this painting she is just waiting to pounce on whoever walks by. I thoroughly enjoyed painting her, the colors in her fur are so rich, and once again the soft pastels lend themselves beautifully to describe her coat. With her eyes a softer highlight I felt a softer highlight worked well.
