As a child, I saw a movie about Ansel Adams and knew I wanted to be a photographer when I grew up. I was born in Chicago Illinois on Feb 25, 1966 and my family moved to Hot Springs during my Sophomore year . I have a Professional Photography Certificate from The New York Institute of Photography.
I have shot in black and white most of my artistic career, however I am finding myself shooting more color. Recently, I have caught the digital photography bug, and I am enjoying photography even more.
I have had the honor of participating in the Arkansas Art Council 's, Small Works On Paper Contest and Exhibition, in which I have won a purchase award. Another amazing opportunity I have experienced in my career is having my work was picked to hang in Senator Blanche Lincoln's Little Rock office.
A hand tinted photograph was choosen for honorable mention in the Women in Photography International's 2008 Juried competition.

My art is my passion, and a gift I have been blessed to receive. I hope that my art can make the world we live in a better place. I want to share this gift with others and I believe there is an artist in everyone! Angels, are often a subject found in my work, nature, and abstract designs as well. I often have images in my head and the challenge is to get the image onto paper. There are also times when something will catch my eye, such as a beautiful flower that demands to be photographed.
