The third of 4 works that I will be displaying at the APW Gallery, World of Imagination, Vol 2, from March 6, 2009 through March 27.
The text is from my poem, "I was married once". It reads:
I was married once. It was a home/work assignment.
A lesson. A lab. A study. - of sorts -
A series of experiments
weighing the comparable viscosity of vital
fluids. That of sweat blood and saline secretions
- the principle export of misty-eyed mucosa.
I was married once. It was a homework assignment.
A partnered lab. We failed.
Miserably.
She will be available for purchase at the APW, Long Island City, NY or directly from me after the show closes. Price of this piece is $150.00 (includes shipping).
