I refer to my style as Fractalage, as coined by it's creator and my mentor, Derek K. Nielsen, however, Fractal Expressionism and using analog fractals in naturally ocurring systems is a more defined explanation of the style.
The sometimes powerful effect some of these patterns can have on the viewer can be attributed to the instinctual familiarity we all have regarding fractal patterns as they occur all around us, and within us. Some may feel "vascular", others may feel "earthy" or even Tidal. However they affect you, it is nearly always enlightening.
