I enjoy exploring what I can do with primary colors...in this case I chose a sulphur butterfly on tall bellflowers in the edge of my walnut grove. The bright, light-struck color made me want to play with light, which is of course made up of the primary colors. Watercolor pencils on a Strathmore watercolor block
