There isn't anything better then walking out to the bunny barn to discover a nest full of newborn baby bunnies. The cute wiggly little guys will 'pop corn' and jump and down when you stick your hands into the nest to count them. These guys pictured here few days old. There are two litters combined together. Three babies had to be fostered to another momma because their own mom wasn't taking very good care of them. Those three are purebred standard chinchillas. A rare breed that resembles the fur of the rodent. The rest are cross bred with a newzealand. The mommas will have their litters about 32 days after they have been bred. They pull fur from their body to make a nest with. Rabbit fanciers provide a nest box for the doe to give birth in, along with some good quality straw or wood ships for bedding. Rabbits make excellent pets, show, and farm animals. However, they are not for everyone. So please do your research on how to care for these animals if you decide to get a pet bunny.
