This is a 11x14 of my ruby eyed white pet American fuzzy lop buck. He is such a sweetheart. I love his long hair! I acquired him last year during a rabbit show. He was being given away as a raffle bunny during the show raffle. Nobody put any tickets in his bag to try and win him. Basically nobody wanted him. The lady running the raffle offered him to me because she didn't want to take him home, and didn't have room for him in her barn with the rest of her bunnies. So I said Yes! I would take him! I raise the breed myself. But they are a very interesting rabbit. They are a small lop breed recognized by the American rabbit breeders association, that has long angora type fur. They are a high maintenance breed, and require a lot of grooming. But they do make wonderful pets due to their sweet temperament. And when conditioned out just right, make excellent show rabbits.
However, that said, rabbits are not for everyone. Especially at Easter time. When considering buying an Easter bunny, please be sure that you are prepared to properly take care f the animal. Bunnies are not a cheap pet, and sometimes do require the same amount of care as a cat or dog would. Just be sure to do your research when considering buying a live animal as a holiday gift.
Now onto the painting! He is painted on a quality, acid free, primed flat canvas panel. The best quality Grumbacher oils were used to create this. This painting is very detailed, as I have worked a lot of the details into his fine coat. He is varnished, and ready to frame. Would make an excellent Easter gift, or year round decorative item.
This painting comes signed and dated by me, Janelle Dixon. Will also come with its own EBSQ signed certificate of authenticity.
