This painting is painted on a 11x14 inch Reeves, medium grained, 100% cotton, double primed, acid free, stretched gallery canvas. The sides are staple free, and painted over. There is no need to frame it. The best quality Grumbacher oils were used to create this. I spent a lot of time on this piece, working in a lot of the very fine details. The painting is of a country creek, just down the road from the place the place I grew up on as a kid. The scene is late winter, early spring. This painting would make an excellent decorative item for those of you that love to have landscape, and river paintings hanging on your walls. It will come varnished for protection.
